Chapter Mileage Challenge
There are two Mileage Contest options within the Richmond H.O.G.
The Monthly Mileage Contest and Annual Mileage Contest.
The Mileage Contests begin at the February meeting and run through to the November meeting.
The Mileage Contests will not begin for you until you have your odometer read, in person, by the Mileage Coordinator. Then just ride, ride, ride, rack up those miles. The contests end at the November meeting.
Your ending mileage must also be read, in person, by the Mileage Coordinator.
The male and female riders with the highest accumulative mileage from their first physical odometer reading of the year to the last physical odometer reading of the year will win the Annual Mileage Contest. Prizes to be awarded at the Annual Christmas Party. You do not have to attend every meeting to be eligible.
The male and female riders with the highest accumlative mileage from the previous months chapter meeting to the current chapter meeting win the Monthy Mileage Contest and have bragging rights until the next meeting.
If you ride to the meetings the Mileage Coordinator will get the mileage from your motorcycle when you arrive. If you are unable to attend a meeting you may take a photograph of your odometer and e-mail or text the photo to the Mileage Coordinator by the meeting date. You can do this for either contest EXCEPT for the first and last mileage reading those must be read in person.
Odometer readings do NOT carry over from the previous year. If your bike is in the service dept., the mileage recorded on the work order will count.
The 2017 Mileage Program Coordinator for Richmond HOG is Tom Lyon. He will maintain the official 2017 mileage log.
